I regret to inform that PIU is closed forever, now.
It is not PIU's only fault at all...
All current PIU members can read detailed description of situation in "News" folder of their private account page.
Also there is extensive Report which describe whole story of PIU and provide even more details on current situation.
More over, there is Full account disclosure. Both documents are available for download for PIU members.
It is very clear to me now, that PIU has participated directly with so called
"Financia Investing" (Wanda Lee Newby's California corporation).
I know a lot of private programs which have been making good and steady profit generated by Wanda.
She was great trader and always respected her duties in relation of private her investors.
Unfortunately, things started going bad since September of 2006.
We all were informed that Wanda is suffering from cancer and can not dedicate too much time and energy to trading activities.
She promised to payout all existing investors, but payments were postponed many times during last months.
The trader Wanda Lee Newby had died on 14th December,2006 from cancer.
Her obituary is at:
http://www.legacy.com/MercuryNews/DeathNotices.asp?Page=LifeStory&PersonID=20454671
Since Wanda Lee Newby passed on, her partner, Greg Dixon has cut off all communication
with all private investors and fund managers and seems do not have any intention
to honor refund agreements signed with investors.
Greg Dixon respond to voice mail inquiries and faxes by disconnecting the phone numbers.
It seems he has no intention of keeping the agreements.
To Recap:
------------
PIU always was very supportive to investors, has never failed payments until Dec,2006.
Still, PIU D.D. was never 100% transparent (and couldn't be due NDA agreement supposedly signed with
Financia).
Either PIU was a honest program which failed because ignored
basic Diversification rule....
Or PIU simply is using "Financia" fiasco as excuse!
Unfortunately, we'll never know the truth: it is of nature of all online (and offline) investments.
How you, investor can fight losses like that?
It could sound trivial, but to be in profit, you must:
- use diversification;
- manage your funds properly;
- only invest monies you can afford to lose: no mortgage and groceries $$$'s here.
Check out this site to find quality programs proven to be reliable for long run!
